  1. Go to Forms \u2192 Import\/Export<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the form export option.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the form or forms to export.<\/li>\n
  4. Download the generated JSON file and label it with the form name, date and version.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Import a form<\/h2>\n

    1. Go to Forms \u2192 Import\/Export \u2192 Import Forms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Choose the JSON file exported from Gravity Forms.<\/li>\n
    3. Run the import and read any warnings.<\/li>\n
    4. Open the imported form and check field types, conditional logic, notifications, confirmations and add-on settings.<\/li>\n
    5. Save and submit test entries before using it operationally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Important compatibility note<\/h2>\n

      Gravity Forms form imports use the JSON format generated by Gravity Forms. A WordPress page export (WXR\/XML) is a different format and cannot be imported as a Gravity Forms form. Signature fields and add-on features may require the same add-on to be installed and active on the destination site.<\/p>\n

      Safe deployment<\/h2>\n

      Do not import over a live operational form without reviewing the result. Keep a copy of the existing form export, and avoid changing field IDs or notification recipients without testing dependent workflows.<\/p>\n
