Build a Site Inspection Form

Plan the inspection before building

1. List the decisions the inspector must record and what action follows each outcome.
2. Group questions into logical sections such as site access, work area, environmental controls, equipment and close-out.
3. Use consistent answer choices for similar questions.
4. Decide which questions are mandatory and which should trigger follow-up fields.

Build and configure

1. Create the form and add site, job, inspector and inspection date fields.
2. Add Section fields to separate the inspection areas.
3. Add radio buttons, checkboxes, text fields and uploads appropriate to each question.
4. Use conditional logic for non-conformances, remedial actions and evidence.
5. Configure notifications for material issues and a clear confirmation message.
6. Embed the form on the correct CHKM8 page and verify access restrictions.

Quality checks

Test a compliant inspection and one with several issues. Check that all expected fields appear, evidence can be uploaded, notifications contain the right details, and records can be retrieved later.
