CHKM8 Developer Reference

Create an Operative Activity Record

Purpose

The CHKM8 component named chkm8-operative-activity is associated with operative activity records. The exact fields and controls depend on the installed version of the component.

Administrator setup checklist

  1. In WordPress, locate the page or dashboard where the activity feature is intended to appear.
  2. Check that the relevant CHKM8 plugin/component is active.
  3. Open the feature’s visible settings, if provided, and record available options before changing them.
  4. Confirm which user roles can create, view, edit and delete activity records.
  5. Use a test operative account to create a sample record.
  6. Verify that the record is visible to the intended supervisor/admin and not exposed to unrelated users.
  7. Test any reporting, filtering or date-range controls shown by your installed version.

Before relying on the feature

This guide does not assume undocumented settings or database behaviour. If the component has no settings screen, its configuration may be controlled by the plugin or code. Record the installed version and ask the site administrator/developer to confirm the supported configuration before editing code.
