Component
chkm8-evidence-photos is a CHKM8-specific evidence-photo component. Its relationship to Gravity Forms upload fields and its access rules must be verified in the installed version.
Setup and verification
- Confirm which form or record is expected to supply the photos.
- Submit a test record with one image and another with multiple images if supported.
- Open the record through the normal CHKM8 interface.
- Check that images display in the correct record and are not associated with another asset/job.
- Test the image view on a phone and desktop.
- Test the same record with an unauthorised account to confirm access is restricted.
- Check how images are retained, exported and deleted under the organisation’s policy.
Image quality and storage
Use images clear enough to show the evidence but avoid uploading unnecessarily huge files. Do not assume a photo has been optimised unless the installed component confirms it. Verify the original/evidence requirements before changing image processing settings.
