Troubleshoot Conditional Fields That Do Not Appear

Work through these checks in order

1. Open the correct form in the editor.
2. Select the field that should appear and confirm conditional logic is enabled.
3. Check the controlling field, operator and expected answer spelling.
4. Check whether the rule uses All or Any and whether that matches the intended behaviour.
5. Save the form and test in a fresh front-end session.
6. Check whether another conditional section or page rule affects the target field.
7. Confirm that a required field hidden by logic is not blocking submission unexpectedly.
8. If the issue persists, test on staging with only the relevant components active and review console/server errors.

Regression test

After fixing the rule, test every answer combination that should show or hide the field. Include both a valid submission and a submission that should fail required-field validation.
