Check the form first
- Open the form’s Settings → Notifications.
- Confirm the notification is enabled and its recipient address is correct.
- Check conditional logic; the rules may intentionally prevent the notification from sending.
- Verify merge tags using a test submission.
- Submit a new test and note the exact time and form ID.
Check WordPress mail delivery
- Check whether WP Mail SMTP is installed and configured.
- Review its email log, if logging is enabled.
- Check spam/junk folders and the recipient mail service.
- Review the sender domain and mail-provider delivery logs where available.
- Do not repeatedly send test emails to large distribution lists.
Interpret the result
If Gravity Forms created the entry but no notification appears in the mail log, review notification conditions and form settings. If the mail log records an attempted send but delivery fails, investigate SMTP/provider delivery rather than rebuilding the form.
