Component
chkm8-loler-expiry-widget is the CHKM8 custom LOLER expiry widget. Confirm the fields and source records used by your installed build before relying on it operationally.
Setup and test
- Confirm the component is active and visible to the responsible role.
- Check that lifting equipment records include the correct asset identifier and examination/expiry date.
- Open the dashboard containing the widget.
- Compare a known record against the widget’s displayed date and status.
- Test a record approaching expiry and an expired test record, where safe and appropriate.
- Confirm the widget links to the correct equipment record or evidence.
- Check that only authorised staff can access associated documents.
Important
A dashboard alert is a reminder, not a substitute for the statutory examination records, competent-person assessment or the organisation’s lifting-equipment control process.
