Configure the Daily Site Report Widget

Component

chkm8-daily-site-report is the CHKM8 custom daily site report widget. The exact widget controls depend on the installed version.

Set up and verify

  1. Open the WordPress dashboard where the widget should appear.
  2. Confirm the component/plugin that supplies the widget is active.
  3. Check the widget’s current title, placement and any visible settings before changing them.
  4. Confirm the account can access the records the widget is intended to summarise.
  5. Create a controlled test submission using the relevant source form.
  6. Reload the dashboard and verify whether the test record appears, including its date and status.
  7. Test with a user who should not have access to the underlying record.

If the widget is empty

  • Confirm the expected source form IDs are correct for the current site.
  • Check that a test entry exists and is not in spam or trash.
  • Confirm the entry date falls within the widget’s date range, if one exists.
  • Check dashboard widget visibility and role/access restrictions.
  • Review plugin errors and logs before changing permissions globally.

Do not assume that a widget is broken until its source form, data range and access permissions have been checked separately.
